Vedran is the founder and CEO of Avala Equities. He established the company in 2006. Vedran is responsible for setting the direction of the company and overseeing all facets of the business. His primary focus is on acquisition, financing and mentoring. Through relentless drive, attention to detail and focus on team cohesion, Vedran has demonstrated his ability to continuously adapt and grow the company throughout various economic climates. Vedran was born in Serbia and has lived in Canada for the last 24 years. He has a degree in Business Communications from the University of Alberta.
Izabella has spent the last 3 years progressing throughout the company, starting as a cleaner and lower level leasing agent. Born and raised in Edmonton, she recognizes the importance of trust between Avala Equities and its residents, and strives to exceed their expectations everyday. Izabella provides high level management to ensure balance between residents, communities and associates. Her goal is to make sure Avala Equities is constantly growing and evolving so they can continue to expand through Western Canada and stay up to date with the changing and competitive market.
Vesna is a property manager based out of Calgary. With over two years of property management experience, she has demonstrated strength in administrative, contract, and communications skills. In this role she is responsible for overseeing day-to-day management of multiple residential buildings, managing service providers and vendors. She is also the single point of contact for all existing and potential renters. Prior to obtaining her current position with Avala Equities, Vesna worked in a client-focused environment within the Ministry of Economy in Montenegro, which enabled her to smoothly transition to property management.
Simona is Slovakian and has been living in Calgary for over 8 years. She recently joined the team of Avala Equities to hone her skills in the property management industry. Her work has resulted in numerous referrals and growth of the customer base. With the motivation to learn more and pursue excellence, she is able to tackle the toughest challenges at work. Simona loves different cultures and old traditions, keeping some in her family from her ancestors. Her hobbies are traditional dancing, any kind of sport, cooking, and hiking.
Marko is a property manager with a profound understanding of the real estate industry. He also has experience in the financial and marketing industries. Marko is passionate about asset management and willing to dive into specific market needs. He has a Diploma in Financial management and a diploma in Strategic Management from the International Business Management Institute in Berlin, Germany. Marko also has a diploma in Civil construction from the People’s University in Serbia. His interests include mountain biking, martial arts, freediving and archery.
Alicia is a property manager based out of Vancouver, and is currently pursuing her BBA at Capilano University. As an experienced property manager, she is committed to providing exceptional service and professionalism to her residents and tenants. Alicia seeks to leverage top-notch managerial and organizational skills to boost efficiency in the workplace. In her free time, Alicia enjoys playing tennis, skiing and hiking with her friends.
